What a chode interviewer. Anyhow, something is going to be at Daytona. Prob a Zl1 with a sticker on it. Special Edition most likely. Spoiler delete for sure and 24' rims optional. In Chrome, that spin too.

That guy said they are adding to the Camaro lineup. That tells me a new model. That tells me a Z28.

It was funny the interviewer coaxed the Z/28 announcement out of him, then his follow-up question is - are you going to tilt the backup camera screen up?

Well, maybe. He said that there would be an addition to the lineup, but not that it would be a Z/28. It very well could be the GT4.R that he was talking about. GM already announced the car, but all we've seen are renderings. I really have a hard time believing that a marketing director is going to let the cat out of the bag at a car show to a YouTube channel guy, that's "lose your job" stuff right there.

Courtney Force drives a "Camaro" and she will also be driving the pace car at Daytona so I wouldn't be surprised if that new addition is a pace car.

Sounds to me like he's baiting all the Z28 folks into thinking that's the announcement date for their car. I bet the only official announcement coming at Daytona is the unveiling of the actual GT4.

It could be true, there's rumblings that the ZR1 will be released at Sebring.

Well, if you are going to be there, then they will DEFINATELY announce the Z/28. Everybody knows that Becky gets to go to all the best Camaro events! They couldn't reveal the Z/28 without you Becky!

Seems odd that this interview isn't seeing more exposure in the automotive sites. It sounds like he confirmed something would be added to the Camaro family. Very unusual for someone in the know to let info like that slip.
