"This package adds a cold air induction, unique ECU tuning, long tube stainless steel headers, a new lower pulley and a belt upgrade - resulting in 12 pounds of boost pressure"

Kind of cool that just this resulted in 100hp/100+lbs torque. I am thinking the ZL1 has so much potential. It will be fun watching what people build over time and how much HP/Tq they will be able to pull out of this stock LT4

The LT4 is an amazing bolt on engine, the best there's ever been, simple bolt ons and E85 can make 700 whp. But it takes an aggressive Heads/Cam/E85/Meth/Ported TB/Snout/Blower setup and a lot of prayers to make 800 whp. Already been spending a ton of time on the C7 Z06 forum finding out as much as I can about the engine, and basically 800 WHP is almost unachievable on the stock blower without going crazy. Look at Tommy, he's on bolt ons/cam/heads/e85 at 770 WHP, and probably going to be impossible to break 800 without NOS or a new blower.

Now a 2.9 Whipple swap will take care of said issues.

I myself, am more than happy with a basic bolt on setup like this HPE750 package. Plenty of power for the street and a few strip nights.

I just want to point out that the dyno sheet is using STD correction instead of the standard SAE. The numbers would be lower with SAE correction.

That's really good info, ty. I plan on tracking my car as often as I am able to, so I do need to keep my car as compliant as possible to keep my warranty intact as long as possible (lol). But eventually I will get used to the power and will feel the need to add a little more...then a little more...

It is interesting that you brought up NOS. I have to admit that I played with it quite a bit when I was younger...and I thought about it on the ZL1. Do we know how well the stock LT4 gets along with NOS? I have not really seen anything about that.

So basically a pulley upgrade and long tubes will get you 100 hp... no secrets there. Looks good.

Buy the same parts anywhere else & have a reputable shop install it & save between $9K-$10K. Somehow that Hennessey name is a $9K "upgrade".

Nobody is addressing the loss of that factory warranty. Sure Hennessey is promising a 3/36 one but is it as inclusive as the GM's? Just asking.

Brand new LT4 is roughly $13K... You would still save $10K towards a new motor.
