That is the plan! I’d like to keep it as OEM as possible.

If you use a T
I’m pretty sure you will divide your succion flow by 2 (same succion hole)
I drilled a second hole to get the connexion.
Then I have 2 connexions
I think it’s better

I know what you’re saying. I had the same concern about using one fitting for two different vacuum lines.

I sent Elite a question about it on their website since their account is suspended here on the forum. I never got an answer back.

Others seem to have used a T at that fitting without any issues. I don’t want to drill a hole in the Roto Fab elbow in case I want to sale it later it on.

They weren’t very communicative last year either when I bought my catch can.

I don’t blame you for waiting before making your purchase. Vendors need to be held to a high standard and the way we do that is by how/were we choose to spend our money and keeping the rest of the community informed about our experiences with the product and the company.

Not to revive an old thread but I thought I would add some insight to those thinking of taking on this install. I spoke with Elite and they said you can't just T off the breather and have one end go to the catch can clean side and the other utilizing the stock vacuum line. You apparently have to drill through your intake elbow (between breather and MAF sensor).

Did they give a reason why?

Is this scenario strictly for the dual port? I ask, because I have the 3-port, and the way I ran the hoses was:
  • blower vent-to-CC
  • outlet (1)-to-brake booster "T" (in EE CC kit)
  • outlet (2)-to-"T" I added for OEM vent tube & CC

Outlet (2) is the hose next to the hose with the blue check valve (from the kit), and you can see it runs over to the BG (out of frame; you can see the OEM separator tube dangling near the upper pulley).

I don't know if any of that is helpful (or if I understood the issue completely) but I know it's working, lol.

Rotofab Big Gulp and Elite E2X Catch Can Installed

For the OP....

This is how I ran mine......

I ran out of braided hose, but will be swapping the rubber hose to braided line this weekend and also making sure the check valves are placed at the same length.

Hope this helps!

Where did you get that T-fitting that goes into the Throttle Body? Been looking for that.

I replied to your DM, however for the group (I can not take credit; I did a lot of research to find the source on Camaro 6) this is were I found the Throttle Body T-Fitting:

Here is the contact that I used to source it:

Recommend sending an email to garagekingcanada@gmail.com to check availability.

The below is the reply I received.....

to me

Hey there,
I sell the two fittings (the T and male part that goes into the T) for 40USD and that includes shipping. I have to ship from Canada so it costs me almost 1/2 in shipping costs so I don’t make much on them. When I ship them I take a picture of the package and mailing receipt so you will have your tracking. I use Paypal for funds transfer. Also if you could send as a friend it does help me out.

Thanks for your inquiry.

I have 3 ports too. Inlet is PCV obviously. Outlet #1 is for the brake booster T as you mentioned (I too have the T quick fitting since I didn't want to cut stock and T into it. The #2 was to be drilled and installed at a 45 degree angle at the elbow of the air intake before the MAF sensor. Use some RTV silicone to seal it and then you're g2g.

This was the recommended way to install after talking to the engineers at Elite.
