CCFL or SMD halos from AAC? I need help
I am getting yellow halos and I dont know wether to buy the CCFL or SMD halos and fogs. I have seen pictures of both and heard both the pros and cons to both I just wanted to see what everyone else prefers. I dont have a problem with the SMD halo look but has anybody had 1 LED burn out? I feel like your screwed if that happens. I also read the CCFL tubes are fragile...I'm looking to buy soon i just need some help

I don't believe AAC offers CCFL headlight halos anymore. But I've been wrong before.

oh ok thanks. I can't decide which color to get on my yellow camaro? I was thinking of going with yellow to match the body color but now I am thinking colorshift would really make it stand out

If you have already considered colorshift, you probably won't be happy with just yellow. Plus being able to remotely control them is just awesome.
The downside is that they are a little harder to install. |

Go with the colorshift, I was originally going to go with just blue but got a deal on the colorshifts and it's much cooler showing people and having tons of different colors and patterns. Also you would be able to dial in the exact yellow ya want

The big downside to doing RGB style halos is the more involved wiring. You also have to mount a controller somewhere and run everything to it.
It's not that bad for a DIY'er but being my first major mod it was a fun challenge. |
