SS 8.6 diff grears and LSD?

I'm starting my build and I've tossing around the idea of 4.10s. Is this the same diff as the gen 5? It is the same size ring. I've also heard stories of a relatively weak posi. Might look into changing that at the same time. Do any forum vendors know???

+1. I'd like to swap the factory 3.73's for the 5th gen 1LE gears if possible.

Richmond gear says their 4.10 should fit and wanted to verify the center carrier part number. Does anybody have access to the 2016 part number? It is easy to get 2015 and below part numbers. 2015 Carrier: 22928327 manual and 2292836 for auto

Did you ever figure out if the 5th and 6th gens can swap gears?
