Ask them if you could take their wife for a test drive. Or just tell them no if they don't understand find new friends.

It's a car. I promise I drive it more aggressively than anyone else will. When I was in my teens and early 20's, I might have said no. At this point, it would not bother me at all.

Considering my best friend owns/has owned several $150,000-$300,000 sports/supercars and he lets me beat on them at the track, drag strip and 1/2 mile events and even let me drive(race) one of his cars in the Optima Search For The Ultimate Street Car events at Daytona and Laguna Seca I really have no problem with him or any other good friends or family driving my measly $30k Camaro around if they so choose....it's just a car.

LOL. That's why you have insurance. You are covered. But I get it, if you have a V8, most aren't aware of the power and the car can get away from them.

Loan it out, no way. Let someone drive it, why not ?
Boy! When I was 17 or 18, I would let HER drive my car anytime she wanted!

Nope, only one is my father when work is done to it. I bought it with my own hard earned money, what have anyone else done. Seen most of there driving habits and that's puts the icing on the cake.
