Camaro GM parts prices
I'm in the UK and have a '18 model SS. I knocked the passenger door mirror the other day, broke the glass and cracked the housing.
It's repairable but I called the only Chevy dealer in the UK for replacements. Glass only: approx $365 Mirror housing (inc. glass): approx $ 1300 (not painted) I can't import a US one as the EU mirrors are different, but still! Are US prices for what I would call easy to damage items so much? |

I have a BMW RR sport bike, and every piece in the US for it is twice what it costs to order directly from Germany. $50 shipping but it pays for itself.
I see $183 for the US version of your mirror and $110 for the glass. Here's a link to the housing US Mirror housing Would they even know if you used US mirrors? |

you can google the part numbers on US sites and see the price. (it's about twice the us variant price - which is still about 1000 usd less than you quoted)
If you're paying much more than that in the UK, it's due to import duties / local distributor markups. Plain shipping costs can't be that much...the part doesn't weigh much and isn't oversized. Last edited by cellsafemode; 07-06-2020 at 04:27 PM. |

eBay! Find one from a wrecked car for half the price. You can always have it painted if you can't find the color you need.

Your mirrors in the UK are larger than ours and have built in turn signals. Aren’t they collapsible as well (for parking in all those narrow British streets)?
Honestly, I’d be a little interested in replacing ours with those. Especially if they’re collapsible. |
