There are 2904 Chevrolet dealers in the US, if I'm remotely close in my 14k build estimate, and the allocations were evenly distributed amongst them all (I know they aren't) that would be less than 5 allocations per dealer. A relatively useless point, but interesting to think about how thin the offerings will actually be for the final year.

2024 = Low supply, high demand, limited allocation, shortened build cycle with reduced options.

Going to be interesting for those chasing a 2024...

"Rumor" has it the ZLE is now on permanent restriction, and they will only build the ones that were already ordered but not built.

It's only a rumor, but it makes sense to me seeing all the people waiting on ZLE builds.
Why screw those customers.

According to the most recent constraint report(dated today), ZL1 1LE is at 2% of total allocations right now. So, not quite on permanent restriction. There were ZLEs allocated today.

Price increases are almost a guarantee in this market. Looking at even just the '22 -> '23 transition;

the 1LT increased about $1600,

the LT1 and 2SS each increased about $2600,

and the ZL1 increased about $4100.

Those were increases with no notable changes or packages, that I can think of. Add in the Collector's Edition package and the likely AMV charges, and the '24's may turn out to be a substantial jump over the '23's in "out the door" cost.

The entire sunseting of the camaro is and will contnue to be akin to getting a root canal for enthusiasts. Dealers on the left coast are currently asking 8-10k over window for even 23 MY 1SSLE's in transit right now, hey more power to em why should it be any different than paying 150k over for a ZO6. Totally different dynamic from when the 4th gen went away,they made a bunch of Z4C cars and they were everywhere to be had. Now, and for the last year, it's been frustrating trying to get a car and many will be waiting in vain. Clearly they are just trying to close the books and six months of production speaks volumes. GM never throws supplies away they are simply emptying the parts bin of anything camaro for an abbreviated run.

Don't be afraid too look cross country for your cars with how much dealers want to charge over MSRP it will be cheaper to do so. I know Hendrick Chevy where I bought my Camaro didn't sell over MSRP at all when others started too and an old Coworker who bought a Silverado told me McCarthy Chevrolet in Olathe Kansas didn't sell over MSRP. Both are located off I-35 in Johnson County Kansas which is the Southwestern side of the Kansas City metro area. I haven't checked them lately and I am not affiliated with them in anyway just trying to help my fellow Camaro and future Camaro owners out. Planning to buy a truck in a few or so years since things went very well when I bought my Camaro new from them three years ago. EDIT: I will be checking on them and if either of the two end up selling over MSRP I will discard them so far though they still haven't.

EDIT: Sorry should have put their websites here

So the GM authority said the 24 will likely not have “magnetic ride control 4.0” was 4.0 a new version and it rill have the existing version . Old does out 22-23 s have 4.0 and are they saying the 24 will not have any magnetic ride control option ?

4.0 is on the Cadillac ct4v and ct5v and such. C8 as well I believe. Our alpha chassis is on 3.0

I guess GM decided to give up trying to compete with the Ford Mustang. So sad the Camaro will no longer be available. Guess I will keep mine until the wheels fall off.

The Camaro could've gone in this direction and everyone would be happy (well, okay, apart from a tiny minority). Apparently the people at Lamborghini know how to fuse heritage with current technology.
