Satellite radio renewal - Page 3

Sirius XM sure is persistent. They have been calling me daily for the last month trying to get me to renew my subscription for the Camaro. I suppose I need to actually answer a call and tell them to stop calling me. I don't want to renew for a car I only drive on weekends.

Im an old very early adopter of satellite radio and I love it though I use Pandora and Amazon Music, too. Its been relatively easy when I had a pay subscription that you tell them you can pay $6/mth or there abouts and they just put it in and away you go. They're full rates are banana's but they very easily seem to give up when asked.

I was paying $79 a year but did not renew because I don't drive that much anymore being retired. I can listen to the same music on Pandora that I was listening to on Sirius Radio for a whole lot cheaper.

Zero for me. and when they ask why I say blame Keith Roth on Hair Nation and the others who babble between songs. I dont give a crap who the drummer's sisters friend was banging in the 80's. I made a USB music stick with 700 songs that dont suck and NO talking. Good enough for me. Heck, I would have ordered the car without Onstar if that was possible.

Personally, I enjoy the XM Radio DJs particularly on Little Steven's Underground Garage. A great mix of real rock and R&B across many decades.

I have the option of listening to my 1000 album library, yet I choose to listen to XM radio when driving most of the time.

If you're old enough to remember WBCN, you know how good this channel is.

How many free months did you get?

I am on month #9 and it still is working without payment.

Tried both Spotify and Plex. Both use playlists. Plex is good if you want to host your server and content on a Windows or Linux server. Was the cheapest solution that I found. But for just $60 a year, easier to just use Sirius.

Long before that, ripped mp3s to a CD for for the car.

For about 15 years now, I have been playing MP3s off of USB. Call me old school but I am still doing it even on my 2022 Camaro. I have about 200-300 GB of music.

I do dabble with sound cloud, but I may try spotify once my XM free subscription ends.

I just get music nothing else with sat radio for the Subaru and the Camaro think its like 10 bucks for both a month.

I keep siriusxm. I like it. It's not breaking my budget and I stream it through the app on my boat in the few months I use it each year in this wonderful weather state of Michigan.... I jest. I miss the boring Florida weather.

I agree with above about letting I’d die and the sign up with the new renewal option and promotion. I run it for a day and they start calling. 5 a month
