Mine is going back in this weekend. With the newly built trans, deep pan and TruCool 40k going on it should lower my temps

Looks awesome!
BTW, took my car out on the highway, ambient is mid 90's, Trans temps was 175 while moving. Between this and the CSF radiator, pretty happy the temps are below 180... -Don

Do you have a pan for the 6L50 used by the LFX? Will the dip stick work in the 6L50? I did look and the "fill plug" is on the passenger side of my 6L50 AT.

Thanks for the update. There are a lot of us V6 AT owners who would like a dip stick for the AT, if you ever get around to trying it out on a 6L50. I may buy one and give it a try anyway.

Thanks Max. Keep us posted if you do pick one up. We'll be sure to do the same if we get our hands on a V6 in the near future.

So I pulled the fill plug on my 6L50 AT.
Plug part number is 24226020. Can anyone verify if this is the same fill plug used in the 6L80? It looks like the same plug. If it is, then the B&M dip stick will work on a 6L50. Thanks for any help.

Thanks hammdo.
Every time I tried to look up the part number for the 6L80, it told me the part was available but could not be verified to fit the 6L80. Now I can order the dip stick. The install on the LFX will be easier than the 6.2 since no headers and a clear path to route the dip stick. I measured and it appears I need a 36 inch dip stick as access to a 24 inch may be difficult. Again thanks!

I ordered the B&M Oil Dip Stick for the 6L80 for my 6L50. I installed it today. Perfect fit. It was a little long but without headers, a smooth transition, no binding at all and I did not have to shorten the stick at all. Dip Stick slides in and out perfectly. Anyone with the V6 AT, check your fill plug. Mine was the same as used in the 6L80 and the B&M Dip Stick fits perfectly.
