Help. Buyers Remorse/Not liking the package
Gents,
After doing all my research for months, I am not satisfied with the 2SS/RS Package. I catch myself looking for upgrades to get it to a 1LE. What I should have gotten was the 1SS 1LE. On a serious note, should I trade it in before my performance mods that go on next monday? |

Just keep what you have. Trading now will cause you to lose money.

No, spend more money on your current car so you can maximize your loss when you trade on a 1LE.

Thats the thing. I thought I would be better with the tech upgrades vs performance. Now about to put in $4k worth of mods and wonder if they should be going into a 1LE.

You can get the 1LE handling stuff from GM and get it installed at dealer. It's not cheap $$$.
I too feel I could have "upgraded" to the 1LE, but for my purposes the SS is fine enough. Man, this car handles so tight anyway, 1LE is a different animal.

I forgot to add I haven't even made my first payment. Bought June 5th. I didn't know if there was anything I could do.

If you trade it in, you are going to lose a boatload of money. Better off, cutting your losses now. Don't do any mods, trade it in in say three years. That will lesson the attack on your bank account.

do what makes you happy, and if trading for an 1LE does it, then it's a no brainer...

I guess I don't get what your complaint is (?) Truly the 1LE is WAY tighter, but unless you are going to track the car heavy, you probably won't miss it. If as you say you have upgrades on the way, your SS will be bad ass. Give it time and see how you feel. Suspension upgrades are probably the easiest to get done after the fact. I think when you figure out how the breathing of this motor is so restricted, you may forget about the handling as priority #1

Ask your dealer/salesman and see what he can do. Find out how much you would lose, and decide then.
