928 RWHP Stock Short Block F1A Camaro by LG Motorsports

Figure I would lead in with just a simple dyno graph.

Since the last car that posted over 900 rwhp...did STD numbers, to be fair I am posting the same correction

  • LG Super Pro Long Tubes and exhaust
  • LG G6X3 cam kit
  • LG ported LS3 heads (11.4:1 compression)
  • FAST 102 intake
  • NW 102 TB
  • ATI balancer
  • Procharger F1A supercharger kit (shows 12 psi at 6900 rpm)
  • Procharger race intercooler
  • Procharger 12 rib drive
  • Procharger race by-pass valve
  • LPE dual fuel pump kit
  • ID 850 injectors
  • Alky controls Meth kit
  • MGW shifter
  • LG Motorsports solid engine and trans mounts
  • Centerforce DYAD clutch
  • DSS shaft and axles
  • Weld RTS wheels
  • 93 pump gas (846 rwhp)
  • 104 octane (928 rwhp)

Car has had a few combo's over the past few years and was not 100% intended to be F.I. when the heads/cam was done to the car, but as you can see the results worked out nicely.

This would not be the build for everyone, but it does give you a very good look into what can be done if you pick your parts wisely and have a solid tune with the LS3.

Small build thread here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=324961

More than happy to answer any questions you might have about the build.

That's awesome numbers. I'm worried about my bottom end at 640 to the rear. Pretty incredible motors for what they are

There is a video of this car vs a red gt500... That video claims 650whp. What's been changed to pick up this much?

Did you have any belt slip issues? I'm running a F1A also along with the upgraded intercooler and race bov. it started to have belt slip at 6000rpm at 15.5lbs of boost and just peaked over 900rwhp. I want to go further (as in I want to reach redline with no belt slip issues) but may need to jump to a cog (will probably eat the crap out of belts) or a 12 rib setup. Thoughts?

Depends on the date of the video as to what fuel it was on....I believe in that it was on pump fuel so the 800 tune.

We had a 4.5" blower pulley on the car and ran a 12 rib setup from the get go to fight any issues with slip.....if it did slip, it was not much.
