No doubt. I'm sure we could hit 9s fully built with slicks and the right temps but 10s is still huge for this platform.

i cringed a little on the launch. i was like "please dont break please dont break please dont break"
the plan is to see "what breaks" (and when), then address whatever it is at that point. its been a trooper so far though! |

steve can you elaborate a little on what you did it in the tune for launching? I read somewhere that it sucks for daily drivability. did you figure a way to make it like a trans brake or launch controller?

I haven't seen any numbers be posted for this car fully...at least to my knowledge. Any chance of those coming out soon?

Are you looking for power numbers? i dont have the dyno sheet handy, but i believe it was 44x for this run. we're hitting the dyno this afternoon to turn it up a little more, then hitting the track tomorrow!

Yes, Most of it is done within the cam phasing. You can control the cams in a way that will cause the turbo to spool considerably faster, then you can pull a ton of ignition timing out (until a desired RPM) which will allow full boost, but low power.....allowing you to hold the car at the line without driving thru the brakes) its a little doggy on the street set up like this, but it isnt terrible....you could also have a street tune, and a track tune, and simply flash the track tune when you show up |
