Thus shifting into second.

Hey guys, quick question for you. When I try to do a hard shift in my ss from first to second theres a thud sound that comes from up front. It only happens in the high rpms, trying to flatfoot and not to flat foot shift, both give the same results, but only to second. If it was an older car, I'd say a loose or broken engine or tranny mount. But no clue here, is it just a case of driver error? I've only owned one auto so I should be somewhat experienced with manuals.

Was it a problem since ownership, or did it develop over time? The only times I've heard a clunk was when my timing was off.

It has always done it, that's why I never flat foot shift. A normal shift doesn't do it. I want to play around with it more to see if me, but I don't want to break anything.
