For the rolling shots, we attach a rig to the car (just a long aluminum pole), then camera to that and roll the car about 5 to 10 feet depending on the blur he is wanting. He removes the rig with post processing.

Here's a picture of the rig before post processing.

17MM lens for the rolling shots
135MM for the static
