2021 Camaro Shock And Steel Edition Now Available In Two New Colors
Earlier this week, GM Authority exclusively reported on the new 2021 Camaro Shock And Steel Edition package, which is currently available to order. Today, we’re back with another exclusive on the Camaro’s latest Shock And Steel package with news that the styling upgrade is now available in two new paint colors.
When it was introduced with the 2020 Chevrolet Camaro, the Shock And Steel Edition package was only available in conjunction with Satin Steel or Shock with regard to exterior paint options. Now, the latest 2021 Camaro Shock And Steel Edition package expands available paint options to include Black and Summit White, GM Authority has learned. It is hideous. Thats why I bought it. The wheels grew on me. Has special interior trim, exterior decals and door sill treatments, blacked out tail lights, carbon fiber dash. In the end it is a an SS package with extras.

The steel edition looks good, which is an odd opinion for me (I like sport vehicles to have louder colors). I'm not sure that I care for the shock edition. I love the shock color, and I would have one if the wife didn't hate it. The rims are awful, especially for that color, and the black striping looks out of place IMO.

I love the shock color. It's eye-searing. It's not traditionally beautiful, but it's fun and different. Unfortunately for me part of the deal with the wife was that I would get a more understated color, but I really appreciate the shock cars.

I also like the Steel Edition. I would get it in a convertible 2 SS Auto.
