3800 delayed ETA thread
Hey everyone. I noticed a ton of us have delayed ETA’s. Just seeing if anyone has gotten any specific reasons for the delayed eta from your dealer. I talk with the inventory manager about once every 3 weeks. He just looked in vin view today and can’t tell me anything more than where it’s sitting in Lansing. He doesn’t think it’s for parts, but rather rail logistics getting the car to Jacksonville, FL. Anyone else have insight from your dealer on delayed eta reasons??

Just got done talking to a live agent on Chevy chat. Mine is on hold for semi-conductors at an event code of 4300. That was today. On July 26th I was told it was released to the carrier and awaiting shipment. None of it makes sense. Especially being at event code 4300 which is Intermediate Delivery.

No idea why. I also haven't asked directly or talked with the inventory/ordering manager. I don't think my car would be delayed for rail, it's going near Harrisburg, PA so should be direct by truck?

I have tried to talk to a live Agent and they just tell me that it is set for shipping and to talk to my dealer for final delivery.
My ETA keeps changing every week I get to the next ETA. no clue what's going on but its really annoying. Why cant they just give you clear information on what's the hold up or why its still sitting

I was stuck at 3800 for a long time….. before getting to 4200 then back to 4B00 in New Boston. Finally started moving last week from New Boston, to Walbridge, OH to Lima, OH to Louisville, KY and last update today it’s in Nashville, TN.
It’s been a really long wait for me, placing my original order on December 6, 2021. No allocation with that dealership so found one with an allocation for a 2SS 1LE in march. See my signature for timeline. ETA is 25 August.

I get an ETA but it never moves past 3800, ETA has slipped 3x times now and logically you can't have an ETA and still be at 3800...

3800, had an initial ETA of 7/25, then 8/4, now just says delayed. 2023 1LE.

My ETA changes every week
I have been 7/26, 7/31, 8/1, 8/8, 8/15 and now I am at 8/21 I am expecting when next Monday rolls around it will change again.

My 23 was built June 30th and sat at 3800 for about a month before finally changing. It is scheduled to be delivered to the dealer in 2 days.
