OBD2 Splitter

Has anyone tried an OBD2 splitter in order to feed two different devices? I have tried two different splitters to feed my after-market HUD as well as my iDatalink Maestro. When I have both devices plugged in and receiving data, the HUD glitches. When I disable the feed on the Maestro (there's an option in the settings), then the HUD works normally. this has occurred with both splitters I've tried so far. Wondering if there is a splitter that allows both devices to receive OBD2 without interference or glitching.

There is another thread that this was tested on and I think the conclusion was that only one device would work at a time.

I have done it, but usually one of the devices does not function to full capacity when both are plugged in at the same time.

It was my thread OBD2 Port Splitter Product Question

One member told me to not bother because only one would work at a time and that I’d be better off buying the pins and wiring another connector. It was a $15 experiment so I decided to purchase the splitter anyway and I’m happy I did. Both my CarLock device and Aeroforce Interceptor gauges work simultaneously. I liked it so much I got a second splitter for my Jeep Grand Cherokee also to run a second device. Here’s links for the two I purchased on Amazon that worked!
