No thats not true at all. Most of those comments come from people that dont have 391s....they speculate.

I was fbos for years and with drag radials it wasnt to bad. Now that im camned it skates pretty good. Now it hasnt been sunny and warm yet where i live so i will have to wait to give an honest opinion. I find when i go wot throttle from say a 30 roll it breaks loose. I think it would do that regardless of gear once you up the power. A new set of Nitto 555r2 drag radials are on order tho

I spin at any speed below 65. Even with drag radials. It comes with the power. I would say once your over 600whp you are going to start having this issue from my experiences.

For me also 1st is just a waste of time with even the stock gear I'm still running, I will start off in 2nd manual mode for any digs and it will still lightem up and shift accordingly. In sport I have to feather it off the line then romp on it and she still spins, but hooks quicker once it shifts to 3rd.

Hey Chris, no sir haven't made it over yet. Had too many "life" things going on and with the COVID lifestyle it made it kinda tough to get there, and as always when I'm ready to go, the Florida weather in Orlando doesn't play nice, been kinda tough on the car show scene here too, but I'm optimistic though I will make it over before summer and the sweltering heat!! lol.
