Honestly, if I were the OP I would probably be PMing you and basically copying your build. I took a lot of notes from Pro Stock John on his build and then went on my merry way. And yes, you gotta pay to play. I've dumped plenty of $$$$ into this thing and its FAR from done.

It's not all about power. Gearing and torque converter, tuning are key. There's guys with a lot less power than me that would give me a run for my money or beat me at the track with autos.

That is a much more realistic and obtainable number for an automatic car. Besides you'll beat manual 500rwhp cars with 450rwhp in an automatic especially if you have the appropriate converter paired with your application.
