LT2 Intake Manifold issue

Hello everyone,

I installed the LT2 intake manifold over the weekend and when I tried to start my car, the idle is very rough. I also received 4 codes on my scan gauge.

P0106 (Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) Barometric Pressure Sensor Electric Circuit Output Range and Performance Problem)

P0107 (Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) Barometric Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Input Problem)

P0017 (rankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 1 Sensor B)

P1611 (Main Relay Low Voltage)

I have two theories but wanted to see what everyone thought:

1. Since I had to fab up my own PCV line on the driver’s side due to the manifold being taller and having a barb angled upwards, is it possible that the line has a leak in it and is causing an issue?

2. I had to order an ICT Billet MAP extension harness from GPI since the LT2 intake manifold places the MAP sensor on the passenger side. Could it be an issue with the new extension harness?

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You have a vacuum leak. Double check your work. This has been a common theme on lt2 swaps. I would start my making sure all the manifold bolts are tightened down

You need a good torque wrench with Newton meters... Two passes, I used stock lt1 figures 5 nm and then 10 in specific criss-cross pattern. Did it this weekend, go very slow and it will correct your issues.

Hey guys. Ended up torquing down bolts again and checking the MAP sensor and PCV hose. Looks like the manifold may not have been sitting flush! Thank you for all the help!

You may also need to change the PCV fitting on the manifold to one angled at 45 or 90 degrees. The hose can get compressed when the hood closes.
