Trunk dimensions
We have a road trip planned where we are picking up our new ZL1 and driving back home. Since I don't have the car with me, I am looking for info on the size of the trunk opening to determine if a regular size suitcase will fit or not. Would appreciate it if you could measure and provide the exact opening dimensions of the trunk or other feedback on size of luggage that fits...thx!

34 1/2 " x 14" at widest opening, down to 24" x 14" at narrowest.

The wife and I go on road trips all the time. The trunk area is actually very big, however the trunk lid opening is tiny. The design makes it tuff to fit bigger objects thru it. You could easily fit a full size suitcase thru the backseats and fold them up again.(I believe you are the one taking the kids.) With the back seats left down we get both sets of golf clubs and bags in the car with no issue.
