Finally decided !!!!

ordered a ss3 vvt kit,circle d 245mm 3800,adm cooler. and 3.91/tru trac(wont do the gear till winter) What do you guys think she'll run? alot more aggressive than i originally wanted.

I'd wait on the stall converter until you get the cam installed and tuned. That way you can get the converter optimized for your tq curve.

^^^I second that. You will probably pick an stall rpm a couple of hundred less than the peak torque rpm.

If you wanna do it right, wait for the dyno afterwards. Every engine runs different. You want the stall to be 500 rpm below tq peak. And also make sure when they dyno it, that they lock the converter and use 4th gear. That will give the most accurate results.

I'm about to swap out my ss1 for the ss3 and I can tell you my car with 3.91's, circle d 5c, weld drag pack, and all the other supporting bolt ons ran 11.26 at 117 at super chevy back in april

NICE!!! Im just afraid i went too radical. i did get the 3 disc and i am wondering how it will work just cruisin.

A buddy has the single 3200 with his stock cammed L99. Says it drives better than stock.
