Can I break into the 11's?
My 2010 M6 SS has cam, LT headers, Corsa cat back and full BMR suspension (1" springs, Koni STRs, lwr control arms, toelinks, trailing arms) it makes 477rwhp 449rwtq. I have Michellin 315 Pilot Supersports on a 10.5 F14 rear wheel. With some good launching is a 11.99 possible? Going to take it to Santapod, UK dragway as soon as it warms up. Next mod is 3.91 and good cradle mounts...

it is possible with a really good hook, but an M6 has a disadvantage against an L99 in the 1/4
Look into cutting weight. Are you running a CAI and scoop? Ported throttle body? Vitesse Throttle Controller? I also gained 7.5 RWHP with my cutouts open.

Yes 11.90s are there....
That Vitesse throttle controller is NOT going to Help you in ANY way save your money on another mod.

I haven't seen too many M6 friends hook 11's on street tires...

I did with 100 shot on top of intake and headers which made 424whp w/o nitrous. Stock clutch is on its way out and will stick to the floor if I slip it or launch aggressively. 11.9@119 with. 2.0 60 ft. Bogs badly out of the hole just letting the clutch out at 3k rpm. 315/35r20 pilot super sport, full weight nothing taken out with 260 lb driver and big tool box in the trunk also
With a new clutch I'm aiming for 11.50s

Driving habits yes, HP and or track gains no. Waste of money for the performance guys hitting the track actually it'll hurt your 1/4 mile times. Street driving and street fun it'll react different no doubt.

I thought I read on here somewhere that a guy lost 1/10th of a second off his 1/4 time?

Is it likely?? No You have 3 pretty decent obstacles working against you. Stock tires Stock weight (And you are 240 on top of that.) And stock clutch. There are a few really good drivers out there than can still stick a 1.90 60ft on stock tires but it's not easy. My advice, drop weight and get some DR's and if you can, get a clutch. Your rear suspension is pretty good. |

I've cut 1.7's on the stock p-zeros consistently and couldn't break into the 11's. 12.08 was my best @ 460rwhp and that was with a crap 1.92 60'.
