Doesn't take long for it to become the new normal. Then we are back looking for another bump like any other kind of addict.

Great story OP and your car is awesome!!! After I put my CAI Inc. intake on, I thought that I had a different car. I was just going to go around the block, but somehow I ended up on the Interstate and drove about 50 miles!

Lol that yoda part was funny. But really, you but a cold air intake without watching a YouTube video of how to install? It's so easy

You captured the feeling perfectly. This must be what those romance novels with Fabio sound like to women lol.

But yes the intake offers a surprising sound on these cars. When I 1st installed mine and took to the highway I was more than surprised at the deep, throaty growl my SS let out. It makes the wait for a new exhaust a little more bearable. My tahoe came with a CAI already installed so I had no idea it made that much of a difference in sound

Nice write-up. The only thing that makes me smile when I arrive home and turn the car off (hate for the ride to end) is the "whoosh". Love the whoosh (and the sound similar to old muscle four-barrel kicking in when you stomp on it).
