Did You Order Your Car? How Long Did It Take?

I am going to be ordering a ZL1. My biggest concern is having it transported in the winter slop/salt. I am trying to time this so it arrives in Minnesota in late May. I just saw somebody here ordered in September and still does not have the car.

For what its worth, I ordered my '21 ZL1 about two weeks ago and was told to expect delivery in 8-12 weeks. TBD on how long it actually takes, though.

Ordered my 2020 2SS Nov 8, 2019 and took delivery in San Diego on Jan 17, 2020...

I ordered mine early Dec. 2020. I was told to except delivery mid to late March 2021.

Also, did any of you put money down, when you ordered you car? I did not!!

I ordered my car from GearheadSS here on the forum (he's located up near Dallas, about 4-5 hours from me) after seeing all of the great reviews on him and posts by him. Great process and great dude. Initially spoke with him back in August and he told me he would let me know once he got another allotment. He emailed me Nov 12th that he had 2 upcoming allotments and we set my order that day. Car was built and got my VIN Dec 15th. Car shipped via train Dec 16th. Car arrived to destination via train on Dec 22nd. Arrived at dealer Dec 22nd. I drove up Dec 23rd to pick it up and drove back!

So, quick summary.. Ordered Nov 12th, built Dec 15h, arrived at dealer Dec 22nd, picked up by me Dec 23rd.

I didnt order my car - but a local dealer had one on order with all of the options I wanted - awaiting expected arrival 01/10

If you're referring to me, i placed the order Oct 1, 2020 (i was told $500 refundable deposit but was never asked to pay it) and as of Saturday it's still at the plant. It had a TPW of November 9. The frustrating part is i cant seem to get an answer on what the hold up is. The dealer told me to expect 2 dates for delivery and those have since passed. I've contacted Chevy often and it's either waiting for transport, on quality hold, or both lol? Must be top secret.

My order was accepted Jan.14 2019. Car arrived at the dealer April.22 2019.

Give or take a few days, ordered 15 Feb 19 and took delivery 10 Apr 19.

I ordered my car october 29th, built the week of thanksgiving, and arrived at the dealer in California dec 28th. I’m flying out this Friday to pick it up and drive it back to Utah

I ordered mine in February 2018, and got it in May. However, if you think it's not going to be subject to the elements in the summer, you have another thing coming. I asked the dealer to not wash it, and when I saw the condition of the car, I almost flipped out.

It looked like it was in a tornado. Completely covered in dirt and mud, some of it splashed up such that it stuck on the under side of the hood. It was disgraceful and insulting.
