Tow Hook Removal?
Hey guys,
There's no nut on the back or some kind of trick to remove it right. Trying to remove mine but it's making popping sounds like it doesn't want to break free. I just want to make sure it's a regular screw on before I crank on it anymore. https://youtu.be/tzmzHhcbpw8

Use never seize on the threads.

It looked like whoever installed it used some type of thread sealer. I had to brush out a bunch of it from the hole.

Not thread sealer, or even medium loc title. Never seize or anti seize to prevent galling of the threads and rust.
Where it's located, it should be removed from time to time and threads clean and new antisieze reapplied. |
