Selling my Forgeline wheels

When I bought my Z/28 last fall, it had newly installed Forgeline GA1R "open lug cap" wheels, gloss black powder coat finish, 19"x11" and 19"x12"

Here is a link to the Forgeline website: https://forgeline.com/wheel/ga1r-open-lug-cap-edition/

The wheels are the same as new, not a scratch or chip anywhere. The car has only 1000 miles, and the wheels have only a few miles on them. The dealer acquired the car with the wheels and did not know the history, or at least claimed not to know.

The rear wheels have a date code of May 2018, I bought the car in October, they had it in stock for four months, so the wheels were hardly used.
I replaced the wheels with stock Z/28 wheels just after I got the car.

They have been in my garage since then and it is time to sell them.
List price for the wheels new is $1645 front and $1660 rear, total $6610.

I will sell them for $4000 picked up in Salina, Kansas, or I will pack and ship them for my actual cost UPS insured.

Do you know what the offsets on the wheels are? Like most wheels I would think it is stamped or engraved in the back side of the wheel somewhere. Either on the hub mating face or the back side of one of the spokes possibly?

Forgelines have a serial # engraved on the outside of the inner lip. You can call Forgeline and they will tell you the specs.

It was pointed out by another member on the Z/28 forum that these wheels are not GA1R.

They are GS1R with special machining for center caps.

Here is the correct link to the Forgeline website: https://forgeline.com/wheel/gs1r/

The description states the GS1R is up to 1 pound lighter than the GA1R.

The wheel pricing is the same, but the special machining for center caps adds $75 to the retail price of each wheel.

I just took a pic of one of mine. They are very hard to find, especially with my gloss black. You have gloss black too, so get out the cheater glasses, lol. Even harder to see in the photo. Get a bright light and search on the inner lip. Mine was a 10 digit number. I obtained mine 2nd hand. I called Forgeline with the 10 digit #s, They gave me the specs and additional info. They were very helpful.

The digits on your wheels might be an identifier. Possibly:
Not sure what N9 is
66.99 (mm) center bore?
gloss black?
18 and 36 offset in mm?
manufacturer date?

I'm even more interested now as I like both the GA1R and GS1R but I like the GS1R the most. Can you post some pics of the wheels then? You posted the barrels up close but could you post pics of the entire wheel(s)?

I see Forgeline is knurling the bead too, very nice, My tires move all over the place on mine. Fortunately, since they are perfectly machined and the tires I have used must be spot on, the only weight that that is needed is to offset the TPMS sensor.
