As stated by Gen5DIY the 19+ harness did not fix this issue. Looks like we will have to be patient on this one! I'm always here to help and try new things, what's the hurt if it'll help the community! I also refuse to go back to the curly cord going across my dash haha

Agreed! No curly cord for me!

I was just giving some insight that it’s Camaro/R3 specific so far and not affecting the trucks with the Gen5DIY harness. I have both.

I was actually thinking about this thread this morning, In the last week or so I have had traction control engage about 15 times and only once the radar has cut power. So im not sure if the new location is keeping power to this area because it senses something connected? But it has been much much better

We ordered a new Uniden R3 today, so when its here we will continue testing with a car that can set off the traction control with little effort.

Awesome! Can’t wait to hear the results.

Also for those having issues. What firmware update are you running?

My unit is on 1.48. Came with 1.31 out of the box. Then I updated to 1.46, then later 1.48. I know 1.37 and 1.48 are the two favorite firmwares right now.

I've had this same issue and posted it in the radar detector thread with no response, thought I was alone. I gave up and ordered a 10' Uniden/Escort harness and an add a circuit fuse tap and wired it to the engine bay fuse block to a switched circuit, no more problems.

I might do this also, which fuse # in the fuse block did you use?

The amazon link with the 10' cable comes with fuse taps, I am guessing those will not fit our fuse blocks?
