I don't have the problem yet! But I'm curious if pdr would be a cheaper easier fix depending on the metal type.

I had about 50 dents in a car from hail had the pdr guys work on it $250 bucks for around 50 dents only took them a few hours was crazy how good they were.

Could never tell anything happened and got to keep the factory paint!

Anyways just throwing this out there not sure if this car is a candidate for pdr but if the dealer is not helping this is a cheaper way then painting it.

I am having mine fixed friday. My pdr guy found 5 on the passanger side and 2 on the drivers side top rear quarter. He also found a small one on the door. 150 bucks to do the job. Its confusing how they got there. I dont see how they happened under my ownership and cant see how i could of overlookethem if the car came with them. My car is 3 months old and has 790 miles. I will absolutely keep an eye on that area from now on.

Noticed I have a few too... I've made sure to never lean on the quarter panels (i'm 6' so It wasn't ever necessary). But I guess when they were tinting the back window they may have.

They're not really noticeable until you see it at the perfect angle. Doesn't bother me too much yet but if they keep forming then I'll go PDR.

Those are probably the European plate dimples so they know where to screw.

Update .. the car was fixed and looked as good as new. The cause was probably either me or the dealer. Either they leaned on it putting their vinyl name and logo on the upper middle rear window or i leaned on it taking it off. Maybe a combiation of both.

These are torque dimples. I can verify this because i inspected my car prior to driving this morning (17' 1SS 1LE) and the car was dent/dimple free. I did a hard 2nd gear pull on a back road, got home and noticed them instantly when i got out of the car. It was a hard 2nd gear pull.

I suppose i could have the PDR guy fix it (i paid for 10 years of PDR when i bought car anyway) but i think they will come back when i do another hard pull. Im not going to stop driving the car hard, thats why i bought it!
