Boost pulley question

I have a question, but first a reminder of the build that is taking place.
Magnuson 2650, 9.17 lower pulley, NW103 and BG, ARH 2" with no cats into stock muffler, Lingenfelter check valve, DSX aux pump, lastly BTR stage 2 with 38%.

Originally I was gonna do a 90mm upper, but wanted to know if there is enough injector to go one size smaller upper and be safe. Tunes are 93 and MS109.

That's a good question for your tuner.

I did some research on that too, because I want to do a similar build.
From what I found, you should be around 15psi with that combination, and that is the max your fuel system can handle.
You will find the answer in this video:

Your tuner should have good insight, but it seems like if you might be able to run to around 850 with a cam and low side mods'. I think CSP's old ZL1 (which he just sold) was running to around there, with no supplemental fuel to the high-side. I believe he was running the low-side, and without meth', was getting to about 850-or-so. I wouldn't know, but I would guess that with your lower, a cam, and a 90mm-upper, you'd probably be around 15-psi or so. That's only a guess based off of what I've read about and seen videos of.

How much boost are you running now? 90mm and the 9.17 lower I would guess around 15-16 psi. You can definitely run a some more but we've ran into knock around 20 psi. It would hit around 18 in the midrange and knock.

Pretty sure the CSP car was running meth...or maybe he removed it with the 2650? I know when he made roughly 800whp on stock blower it had meth and interchiller. I quit following closely...especially since all the C8 stuff.

Don't know as car is being done now. Turns out, Magnuson forgot to put the pulley in the box, so i fiugred if i have to get them to send one, i should see if anyone got by with the 85mm with same mods. I know the 90mm will be ok.

OH... I thought he wasn't running meth for that 800-RWHP contest set-up. My bad. I know I remember seeing the meth lines on later parts of the build. I do recall the interchiller, like you said. He posted a few good ones after the C8 stuff started, but my interest fell, too. If I find the video, I'll post, not that it really matters, so never mind, hahaha. If someone's interested, I can go look.

9.17 and 3.5
8.6 and 3.25
8.3 and 3.0

usually these combos are between 18 to 19 probably depends on cam. those will net that 825 to 850 mark on 93

How is your build coming along?
Which pulley combination did you end up using, and how much boost is it making?

Tuner suggest we stick with original plan of 90mm upper since I have the 15% lower. Unfortunately still waiting for the pulley to get to us. Cam is in, new oil pump is on. Interesting he said the new pump feels 10lbs heavier than the original. He didn't weigh it, but I get the point it feels more robust. Wonder what they changed to make it feel that way.

CSP/Andrew's ZL1 made just over 800 rwhp SAE with:
1. Roto Fab Big Gulp intake
2. Kong Ported LT4 blower
3. NW 103mm TB
4. Kooks 2" headers
5. Custom camshaft +32 Fuel Lobe
6. Ported TSP heads
7. Interchiller

8. 93 octane pump gas only, NO meth NO E85

I think you'll see around 14 psi with the 90 and the 9.17. Every 5mm is about 2 psi of boost, maybe 2.5 depending on heads, cam, headers, etc. if you decide to go smaller pulley at some point. Your build is exactly whats in my Camaro now except it has 1 7/8 headers, no cats, same cam and of course 2650. Its on only 14 psi and 22 degrees of timing and made 847 and 790. Recently went 9.40@147 with its new owner. We are going to put some more timing in it in the upper RPM range and pull some timing at the launch, can't get it to hook in these cooler temps. If all the stars align Saturday I think it can run 9.20s. So buckle up, your gonna have a killer ride with shit load of power.
