95% of the people that mod their camaro would benefit from doing the rod mod on a stock manifold from all the videos and stories I’ve read. Other manifolds have there place but depends on the application it seems like and if you also want to modify your hood/wipers.

Personally with the weight of the 5th gen you need all the torque you can get. 3.90 gears is ok 4.10 is a tick better. For the street on a stock height tire and roll racing a lighter clutch is your best option for performance. I would not use anything but a 7.25" triple and youll be amazed at the response when you whack that throttle. I made a 5.5" live for many miles in mine but the 7.25 is the better option. My set up weighs 18 pounds complete utilizing a stock flex plate to start the car.

Yeah I think I might not worry too much about the intake, stick to the rod mod and worry about the right clutch. I really like the rps bc2 twin

I've read so much pro and cons for a light clutch in the cars. Heavy car shouldn't use a light clutch it makes it hard to get moving but its much snappier in. Stalling issues tuning problems with too light a clutch for idle. Makes it a tough choice for me.

The best bang for the buck is the stock intake manifold.

Maybe we could shift this post into a light clutch topic? I’m sure lazer has plenty to say. I’m kinda curious what it’s like driving one myself
