Inner Fender Liner Damage - How are your protecting them?

Spent a few days at Sebring last week with David Murry Track Days. What a blast that was!

Mid-day the second day I pulled the wheels to swap in some new pads and noticed I had giant holes right behind the headlights caused by clag being thrown from the tires. Giant chunks of tire rubber lodged in the headlight housing and in fact cracked the rear housing cap.

I've seen posts on FB about painting the liners with Flex Seal or having them sprayed with bed liner or other wheel well paint to reinforce them.

Wondering if anyone here has a preferred fix for this?

Thanks!
