Wheel repair - bay area
Hi Guys, i have the option to get some Zl1 1LE wheels from a buddy. The car was rolled so there’s marks on the wheels. They aren’t bent or anything like that but I want somebody to make them look good again. Any wheel repair shops in the east bay that do good work?

I used to send my customers' wheels to Pacific Rim in Pittsburg (http://pacrims.com/). They aren't a Sponsor/Vendor and if there is one here, my apologies... I've sent personal stuff there, too, and repairs were always great quality. OEM paint match and appearance. They'll tell you if they can't fix it, too. I think it's something around $250.

Not sure what it will cost but you can do a simple inexpensive repair yourself. Go to the dealer and buy the paint pen and hit lightly with 3000 grit then take your time and paint the damage using the brush side of the pen. Will it look perfect, no. Can you do it for the cost of paint pen.

I did it before myself on my previous car because it was a little spot. But there’s some gashes on these so touch up paint would look ok but there would still be the marks. I’ll hit up pac rims and let them know i was referred from a forum and maybe they will hook it up ✊🏻

Definitely have them done but I don't know about $250/per. That seems high. Down here we all use a shop in Santa Barbara that will refinish and then clear coat or powder coat for $150/per. I would have those wheels powder coated in gloss black. I hate that satin finish.

Riteway was $200 for tire removal, refinishing, mount and balance. Don’t know what the refinishing cost on its own would be.
