ZL1Addons poor business people

Has anyone else had the unfortunate experience of dealing with these people in that they never answer the phone and don’t respond to emails, all this after placing an order and wanting to make an adjustment to an order after just placing it.

Very frustrating, not a good wat to run a business, sorry I found out too late after purchasing from them.

Mad !

I bought a tow hook and the splash guards off of them and emailed them about the hardware for the splash guards being silver instead of black like on the install video and got the sounds of crickets chirping for a reply! :/ agreed! customer service in this day and age pretty much sucks all over!

Good dude for me. As with any small shop, he is probably out in the shop working!

They're probably out in the shop working. Shoot them an email.

Message them on Instagram or Facebook. Seems like every business is best to get a hold of through social media

I've ordered from them and happy. As mentioned above, I don't think it is a big operation and surely there isn't a dedicated customer service department for immediate response. My guess is that they ultimately will take care of you far better than the "big guys" with the exception of response time. I'm more concerned about receiving a high quality product than the time it takes to receive ordered item(s) or time it takes to get a response, specifically with this type of business that has developed their own product and not simply drop shipping you something that a thousand other retailers can sell.

I ordered the rock guard kit and got 1 long and 5 short spacers. I sent them an email and got a response back the same day that the 1x long spacer would be sent to me.

Mine came with black washers and silver screws. I used a paint marker to turn the screws black. Was a little weird.

I've ordered from them and had some issues with slow responses. Took a while to get around to installing my Tow hook and realized I never received the rear hook. Never did get it corrected.

All that being said, it is a small operation and the guy who runs it is a good dude. I met him at CamaroFest and I think he just gets busy. Sometimes phone calls and emails aren't returned promptly but I think it is just because it is a small operation. I would cut him some slack if possible. If not then probably not the company you want to work with.

Ordered ZL1 tow hook. Corvette hook arrived. Left him a voicemail, and he immediately called me back and shipped out the correct hook, as well as a pre paid envelope to return the Vette hook. Couldn’t ask for better service than that.

Those "silver" screws will rust in only few days - they should have included stainless fasteners. Spacers are also wrong length for rear application. Nothing like nice rock guards having nice rust line from rocks wearing off the zinc coating in no time.

Thanks for the replies, they finally responded and may have been from the FB message I sent but I’m sorry, it’s no excuse to not respond when they give you specific ways to, that is, phone and email, I tried to make a correction to an order just after placing it and their confirmation reply email even asks that you contact them if necessary in those ways. So don’t pretend your going to be responsive if your not going to be IMO.
In all fairness they were apologetic but will have to pay for return shipping because I did attempt to contact them to make the order change immediately after I ordered but sent out original order anyway, this means and is typical, they don’t look at notes or emails first before shipping.
It’s straightened out at this point so no further bitching is needed !

I ended up using a sharpie to color mine.... just thought they would send black hardware like the install video.
