I read the manual & still can’t locate forward collision button :(

I read the manual & still can’t locate forward collision button :( I’ve looked all over the steering wheel and can’t find the button. I have the 3LT & the window sticker referred to the safer features including front collision option. I feel stupid asking, but I give up. Thanks

Page 5 in here???
https://my.chevrolet.com/content/dam...ers-manual.pdf
Page 208/209 says you can disable it with the button in the pic.

But this article:
http://gmauthority.com/blog/gm/gener...llision-alert/
says:
"The timing of the Tailgating Alert and Collision Alert depends on the Forward Collision Alert’s timing setting, comprised of Far, Medium or Near. The driver can toggle through these settings using the steering wheel."

So it may be in the settings menu, which will be the gear menu accessible using the "D-pad" on the right side of the steering wheel.

If I had to guess, it's an option on the gaugs cluster that you use the steering wheel buttons to toggle.

You have to have the proper hardware/software integrated to use that device with 100% success....

Put your vehicle into Drive (or any forward gear if you were smart enough to buy a vehicle equipped with a manual transmission), then accelerate into something solid.

If you hit it, you have achieved a forward collision and your insurance company will send you a certification that you passed the test.

Cute Too bad that even though they managed to move the heated steering wheel indicator LED, there is now absolutely no room for the cruise control cancel button, so it's probably never coming back.
