if your going to mod a 1le get the zl1. but your going to pay $50k for a used ZL1 or you might want to pass on it.

I should have bought a ZL1

You are right so right Pupilbone! I didn’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings on here. That was not my intention as I try to get along with everyone on the forum. Sorry if I offended you or anyone else with my reply! You’re right ‘to each his own’!

Both great cars but you will regret not owning the Z.

If you buy the used car you're letting some other schmuck pay for that depreciation, which is very nice.

I would do the same thing, it's new enough to be in warranty still anyways... I would just really try to do my research on the car make sure it didn't belong to some 21 year old burn out warrior lol

bc there’s no point to buying a 1LE if it’s never going to get beaten on.

Or get a used ZL1?
You forgot to include Gen Neutral.

Wow a lot of views flying around! Lets be honest. The Camaro line, 1SS,2SS seem to lose alot of depreciation. That said, the ZL1 "seems" to hold stronger. Not by much, but seems it does.

Buying used maybe certified might be the way to go

OP if you can find a gen 6 ZL1 for mid 40s, buy it immediately.

Next yrear that ZL1 will still be worth at least mid 40s. The new 1LE will be worth mids to hight 30s.

ZL1 = Much smarter buy.

Haven't owned a regular ZL1.. but I've owned an 18 2SS 1LE and an 18 ZL1 1LE.

IMO you really can't go wrong with either so drive both and pick the one you want more.

I've had both... Can't go wrong with either one. Test drive both and then decide.
