No. They chose to continue the 5th gen ZL1's interior theme of that black leather/suede/red stitching.

Dump the red striped Boat Interior. The felt (micro fiber) stuff will show wear very quickly as well. Full leather or cloth.

17 ZL1 what a car....
|
I wish there were more interior color options such as Kalahari. More importantly, I just wish the car would get here.... sooner rather than later.....

People get annoyed when you critique a car they really like, but I think all cars have faults and all cars can be made better without adding cost. Now when it comes to finer materials, sure I would expect to pay more.
Personally, I would like the option of red leather (for a white exterior), and not microfiber suede (or alcantara or whatever). I think leather is easier to maintain and I would sacrifice the seat grip. |

I sat in a few Z06's the other day to compare the 2lz and 3lz. I prefer the 2lz, I didn't care for the sueded a and b pillars, and for the life of me I couldn't tell the difference between the mulan leather and the napa leather. But on the other forum guys boast how much higher end the 3lz feels, I think they bought the 3lz and that's how they justify the expenditure to themselves.

Hard to debate someone's personal subjective opinions but I do think some more color options would be nice on ZL1 seats.
As for Audi I wasn't impressed by the interior of the A5 to S5. Very basic German layout lacking imagination and style. But it matches the more cold soulless analytical function over form that Audi/VW is going for. The Camaro interiors have been polarizing but they do evoke emotion. |

Road & Track was very pleased with the interior of the 2SS and they are known for being picky.

In fact, it's held up better than my cars with leather, for what it's worth. I think a lot of people are cautious of the microfiber suede without really experiencing it...it's quite durable, and easy to clean - the trick is you have to actually clean it... |
