Any idea what would be required for it to work on 2012 SS?

All you need is the blower and the install kit that has everything else you need to install on an ss. Check out lsaconversion.com. the kit is listed there and there is a build thread by hammdo here on the forum listed in the member car journal section. Very detailed build with a lot of pics. Hope this helps you. I have this kit installed and love it.

Thanks, found the website. What's your rear wheel horsepower after the upgrade?

Usually depends on what you use but anywhere near or above zl1/ctsv Power since ls3/l99 have higher compression

Mine has a conservative tune (only 6 PSI) -- now that I've updated the Intercooler pump location, will be higher RWHP (540 right now. I should be 560 to 570 once Ryan updates the tune).

I'll post updates after Mondays tune with GPI (VVT tuning)...

Has anyone upgraded the internals? Pistons, rods, cam? Was having a conversation with a friend that has a blown challenger, and he said that he would be concerned about the LS3 being able to handle the blower, since it doesn't have forged pistons. I didn't think it would be an issue unless it gets over 600 hp, which I don't think it will with the LSA blower.

The challengers have junk pistons and they cant take much boost. The ls3 with a cam and headers and an lsa blower will make 600rwhp without a problem. The ls3 will take quite a bit without forging. Just adding the lsa blower you can get it to make 525-550 rwhp alone.

That is a lot of power over stock. Appreciate all the replies, got to figure out how to get this done.

If you can install yourself that is cool. If not have a shop do it near you. Or contact adm performance and get a quote to have it installed. Take a road trip and get it done. I have seen adm get this done starting in the morning and driving away the end of the next day tuned and everything.
