Why is used pricing for Camaro 1LT V6 seem high compared to say a new one? 2018 used one with 10k miles going for $24,500 whereas a new one same options just a little bit higher. Why is that the case, when just a couple years ago you could have a new one for 28-30 percent off?

Supply and demand is the simplest explanation. I got a pretty good price for my used Gen5 V6, so there seems to be considerable demand on the used market. I suspect people are discovering used Camaros tend to hold up better than used Mustangs.

And the 6 cyl cars don't get beat on like the V8 cars. The 6 cyl Stangs are not as peppy as the fantastic V6 Camaro.

The V6 Camaros should be very low price used compared to new given the huge depreciation. I paid 36.5 for my 2LT and if I traded it in right now would probably net 20K for it and it would sell retail for 22-24. SS's hold their value better and are much more expensive used so you should be able to find a great deal on V6.

People still fall for the line that the "used ones are cheaper because someone else pays for the depreciation".
If your pricing a used Camaro, you might want to see what a new one runs , less any incentives. Between that, sales tax incentive on a trade in, and less interest rate on a loan, sometimes buying new is actually cheaper.

Initially there's going to be a huge depreciation, but there's still a good market for those that are a few years old. I paid $22K for my V6 2LT 5th gen in 2010 and sold it recently for $12K through Carvana. I could have gotten more for it had I marketed it myself as I see some going for $15K on ebay with more miles. I don't think I could have done as well with a SS as the initial price would have been much steeper.
