Tire recommendations.
Greetings
Starting the process of researching new tires. Currently have the OE Pirelli P Zeros on my '15 2SS. I'm not a track guy, but do drive spirited when I can. I live in SE Florida where the temps are mild to hot year round with plenty of rain during the Summer. This is not my DD, so it does sit for a week or so from time to time. I went on Tire Rack and read the reviews of various brands, but always looking for more opinions. I have had no issues with the P Zeros, seem to be lasting like they should. Any opinions on the Michelin's out now, besides the higher price? Also may look for new rims as well. Anyone change the front tire size to match the back? Is that even possible? Go with a 295 or 305 for the back tires? Just curious to the differences in ride and what adjustments I'll have to make for them to fit properly. Appreciate your time to answer

Second. The Triple 5 will probably be my next tire.

I live in So Cal and my tire guy told me the P Zeros were the best, i know we don't get rain like you guys in FLA. so, yeah, I bought two 305/35/20 P Zeros and moved the back ones (275/40/20) to the front when I had only 5,000 miles on them.
The car looks beefier and has a more aggressive stance. My ride did not change at all when I made the swap. But, eventually, i will get new wheels - 20 x 10 fronts and 20 x 11 rears in case i ever get crazy 315s in the back.

I currently have Nitto NT555 G2's on my Camaro and like them a lot. Not quite as much as the Continental ExtremeContact DW's they replaced (discontinued). Both are so much better than the stock Pirelli P-Zero's.
I'm going to look into the Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires when my Nitto's bite the dust.

I'm running different size wheels now but I have the G2's all around. Haven't driven it since I had them put on so can't comment on performance but I can't complain about them for the price. Got the set of 275/315s on amazon for a little over 800 if I remember right.

I am running the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's and they are amazing tires. They are defiantly a summer ONLY tire so if you drive in the rain or any other weather look at something else.

On my SS Sedan I'm running Conti Extreme Sport. They run great in dry and Florida rains. If you are using the OEM wheels, don't go any bigger than 255/285. If you go bigger they won't mount or wear proper. I also plan on using the same tire on my ZL1, they are that good.

I'm running the Nitto Motivos and, IMO, they put the P Zeros to shame in regards to ride, tradition and tread life. I live in a desert where we get very little rain, but when it does, our roads become extremely slick. Didn't care for the way the P Zeroes handled under normal conditions, they were even worse on wet roads. The Motivos handle them nicely.

I was surprised how good the Indy 500s are in the rain. Way ahead of the P-Zeros.

I don't get all the hate on Pirelli P-Zero? Mine were junk because they were old. A new set handled great for me? Traction was good and very predictable for me? Dunno what issues you guys have had, but if they're 3 to 4yrs old, I'd swap them out.
