Jeritage Grill Quetion

I was thinking of ordering a Heritage Grill from GM Accessories Center. It comes with the Bowtie and I do not want it on there. I know on the stock grill on my 2010 SS the bowtie comes off and a overlay can be used to cover the location. Do you need an overlay on the heritage Grill when the bowtie is removed? I am planning to put the SS emblem in its place,

No you don't need anything, it just hooks to the billet grill.

Thanks for the info, I see I spelled the title wrong. Anyone know how to correct title, I can edit texts but not title?

The heritage grille uses a bow tie plastic spacer. It has a back plate that centers it on the grille. To remove it, the chrome portion of the bow tie will need to be snapped out so you can get to the screws behind it.

Not necessarily... I was able to pop my whole assembly off without removing the chrome bowtie insert.

When you go to edit your first post you can select advanced and then you can edit the title.
