OnStar/GM Trivia:

"Casper" our truck got an OnStar alert logged because the computers were confused. The ECM+TCM+BCM+Black Box stops reading data after 255kph (158mph?) because the factory limiter is 96mph. So they didn't code it for an integer over 1 byte (11111111 = 255). The programming is all metric inside.

GM/Allison promised they would build me a calibration, but then the GM bankrupcy canned it. So it did all kinds of weird stuff over 160mph.

there are 10 kinds of people, those who understand binary and those who don't

I'm not sure there is a shortage of autoracks, but there may be a real shortage for power (engines) to move them. It seems there is a possible power problem with Class I railroads. I've heard they are borrowing from just about everywhere. I hope it doesn't delay delivery of any Z's.

We've been short on auto racks lately, but we run 12,000' trains to help alleviate the power shortages... though I've seen a lot more NS, BNSF, UP and lease units recently...

I wish! But we heard they have to go by truck, could not get on rail.

Maybe you can get the Z28s to us?

That's a great picture 1776.....big BNSF power, and don't worry Skylane, 1776 will take good care of the Z for you. Power is showing up everywhere. The NS Heritage Power has been all over the West Coast. I had a deposit for a Z back in 2011, was told there were no plans to build it, and was given the deposit back because of that. Still kicking myself for that. Enjoy that monster when you finally land it.

I know its hard, but its worth it, car does not fit on the train, only comes on trucks, this is why car get the last parts put on after the line.
