If you had to choose between ZL1 or C8 ... Which one would you go for?
I've been toying with the thoughts of this.. ..if I had to choose it would be a pretty tough choice.

If I didn't have the need for a back seat I would choose the C8. My daughter is 10 and fits just fine. Ive had the itch for a while just can't justify spending the money because I would want to keep the Camaro for family rides. I would consider myself more of a Corvette guy as I have owned one since I was 16 but not a C8 yet. The ZL1 is the next best thing.

That's a tough choice. Ultimately, I'd probably buy the C8.

ZL1 vs C8 Stingray...ZL1 all day if you were planning on modding. I personally would much rather have a A10 or M6 over the glass jaw dual clutch transmission. I like the looks and performance of the C8, but for the same or less money you can get a low mileage ZL1 that has a much more robust drive train...and it still looks great.

Zl1 without a doubt. My top priority is trap speed. The c8 launches amazing but dies up top (as it should since it only has 500 hp). I don’t roll race/street race but on a empty road I do occasionally floor it from a roll and I know a car with 650 hp and torque will throw me back in my seat more than a car with only 500 hp.

C8 without blinking an eye. Keep in mind you have just begun to see the C8 capability and it is badass with only a base level but it will be an eye opener as the levels increase. The ZL1 is what it is with a mere 650hp.

As of right now I would take the ZL1. I gotta say I’m not too crazy about the current C8s. I’m not sure exactly what it is. I know one thing that bugs me and that’s the wheel choices. They just don’t impress me and personally I don’t think they fit the car all that well. I’m eager to see the faster models though.
No offence to anybody who owns a C8. This is just my personal opinion. The C8 is still a killer car no doubt. |

ALSO, by the time I added in everything I would want: Z51 w/ NPP, 2LT interior, rims that don’t suck, paint up charge, Hard Top Convertible and Magnetic Ride - I was well north of $90k at MSRP and MSRP is not easy to come by on these due to the demand. So for 2/3rds the price I got a car I will enjoy just as much, with more horsepower. I will never track either car, but I will giggle like school boy every time I launch my ZL1. Plus, I think the ZL1 looks bad ass.
