Also on the road course I can still use more front end grip. I have a 23mm offset with the 19x10s which works fine at max camber (2deg) at stock ride height. With the wider fronts, maybe a bit more closer to the z28 19x11 front offset: 11mm.
Definitely go with 11" rims for 305s. I wouldn't try to use anything less. Plus, if you decide you need more rear grip you can always run 315s on the rear on the 11" rim.

I run 19x10 and 19x11 wheels to stay in FS. Matched with 305/30/19 RE-71Rs.

They were painful to mount on the front wheels but they got on there with the right tire mounter.

Would not recommend doing this setup on Track but Autocross is fine. The 3.91 gears + shorter ratio tires is an amazing improvement.

What he said, to be fast at the national level in a 1LE you have to be on 19's with 305's 71R's or be prepared to be painfully beat up.

Great information what is the prefered rim of choice? I get the R71 and 19x11 on four corners, upgrade the front swaybar??? new cobalt pads and JPSS Spec Alignment. Any need to change brake lines to stainless and change the brake fluid. Also at our local autocross I saw where a cadillac had his rear seat down. I asked about that and he said for lower center of gravity. I guess each little thing counts. I am super new to the whole autocross so far took a novice class via SCCA 7 runs instructor at 80% if that had a 50 sec run my best was 53 and one cone staying at 55 seconds clean.

Fresh fluid wouldn't hurt, but for autocross you're not at all likely to need 600° dry boiling point fluid. Or want the additional maintenance required to keep it 600°-capable. I wouldn't look beyond ATE200, which is good for 2 or 3 years before it should be changed again.

SS brake lines - a little caution here, as that does not appear to be class-legal in Street category. In classes that do permit SS lines, maybe those at the pointy end of the sport would see a little benefit.
