Exhaust issues

Hey everyone, this is my first time posting and really could use some help. Most of problem has been self inflicted but I really need to figure this out and hope some of you have a lot of knowledge on aftermarket exhaust. Okay here goes, I have a 19 auto 2SS with non npp/dual mode exhaust and after a few months of ownership I bought an AWE touring edition axle back system. It basically has two resonators one on each side and it sounded great, no drone it was great! Okay here is where my problems start, Lol I decided to have some work done to my at a local tuner and part of the package they did included installing 2inch headers with off road pipes which obviously means removing my cats. I knew it would be loud so I had them install my factory exhaust back on and it sounded horrible so I decided to put my Axle back system back on and now it’s really loud. I just want to figure out a way to get the sound to a minimal ( a good classic muscle car sound) I’m thinking either a different axle back system which actually has a muffler on each side or put some type of aftermarket cats on? I do know most aftermarket axle back Sue I’ll be too loud but was wondering if there was one that was quitter? I really would appreciate any help! Thanks!!

First off, you don't need 2" headers. I have 1 7/8" catless through 2.5" pipes and NPP exhaust. It sounds awesome. Also, I am FI.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Solo performance makes great sounding exhaust with j pipes. Not sure if they make it for your year
