On the l99 it pulls alot better from a stop. I notice it more when I want to get on it. I have a big hill heading out of the town I live in...the car hardly works at all going up it. I dont dd my car but if I did ..391s are fine.

I do daily mine, LS3, 3.91's are fine. 1st gear isn't as useful as it was. Starting in 2nd is more easily doable.

No complaints. It feels significantly faster. Had them for over a year now. So, hard to quantify.

You nailed it, I used an GPS Speedometer app to check and it is 13% off.

I put 3.91’s and 3200 stall in my car, about 7 tenths quicker in 1/8 mile over stock

Gear swap was my favorite mod, my only wish is I would have done it sooner. When I had the swap I couldn't find anyone to adjust my speedo. No dealers could do it, I must have called 30 places within 100 miles of my house. Several places said they could do it but when I got there they couldn't

Steve @ JDP did the tune on my car so I thought maybe he could do it even though he was more than 100 miles from me. I emailed him and as usual he got right back to me and told me to bring it over when I have the time. It took him about 3 minutes to calibrate the speedo to the new gearset.

Anybody with HPTuners should be able to make the change in under 5 minutes - takes longer to connect to the car than it does to modify the tune.

This was 7+ years ago and yes I was told it was no big deal to get it done. The dealership that put my new gearset in had calibration right on their estimate but when I went to get the car they said they didn't have the software from GM yet. I'm not making it up, I drove for 4 months using a GPS speedo app on my phone. I'm sure everyone has the software and the ability to do it now but they didn't back when I needed it done.
