Had a decal installed on the car. Its definitely different, but I like it, and it matches the factory metallic black stripes perfectly!

Over the weekend I had a chance to do my first maintenance and a few minor mods.





Changed the diff fluid. Wish I could have done it sooner but at 2600 miles it didn't look that bad. Gray with some minor shimmer to it and both plugs had the usual sludge stuck on. Very easy job if anyone is on the fence on whether to do it themselves. Note: I see YouTubers removing the fill plug then opening the drain plug and the diff fluid gushes out like a fire hose. Unless you like a mess on your garage floor or driveway, loosen the fill plug to make sure it comes loose but keep it finger tight. When you drop the drain plug it comes out a slower rate you can catch with a funnel or pan.... no splashing. Took right at 1.6 qt to perform the change.





Installed the RPI skip shift eliminator. Best $16 bucks I've spent. While I learned how to work around the 1-4 lockout by shifting into 3rd, it still bugged me.







Also eliminated the sound tube and plugged the holes with a slick set of 3D printed plugs from eBay. Much cleaner engine bay and I don't care for any piped in sounds, real or not. My 1LE is now 1lb lighter. ;-)

I applied the wrap over the letters, then just used a razor blade to cut around them.

Thanks for passing Chris's email to me. I am going to order one today and when I get off of the ship and get home will install it and post pictures. Appreciate the help. And BTW, your car looks awesome. My Rupes polisher and Sonax perfect finish was delivered after I left for work so will be doing a paint correction and then Kamikaze ISM ceramic coating when I get back too. I'll put pics of that on too.

I did the Sonax Perfect Finish with a Rupes polisher too, came out mint. Followed up with a Crystal Serum layer then EXO V4 layer. But I think you’ll be very happy with that.

Breaking my heart that I am at work and cant start it now, but I cant wait to get started on it. Have you got any pics of it right after the coating was applied? Todd and the guys at Esoteric have really got their act together.
