Does any body have experience with JLT CAI for 6 Gen SS

Searched around in the forums and couldn’t really find any info on this. Is any one running a JLT intake and have dyno numbers? Thanks for the feedback

I think there might be one person that I’ve heard of that has it. Most of the folks on here either don’t know the brand or just go with what’s popular. I had one on my 5th gen LS3 and I loved it. Had it been released by the time I was purchasing a cold air for this car, I would have it. If I decide to go for a max effort N/A build, I will switch to that cold air.

But unfortunately, you’ll have a hard time getting feedback for it. If you do decide to purchase it, make sure JLT is in contact with your tuner, as it is a tune required product, to explain to them the MAF transfer functions. The MAF is considerably larger than stock.

I have the JLT CAI and tune installed.

There are a couple posts about it.

I am going with the GM CAI and tune. It apparently helps with the dead spot in the throttle.

I’m thinking this one will shine with a msd/95 combo

Installed it last night. So far so good. The thing is huge

I agree. The system is just simply larger than everything else on the market. The only gripe I’ve had with their kits, is their heat shields.

This one fit perfectly as they intended. It doesn’t hook up to the duct tho like the rotofab design. We’ll see how it does today

Maf curve was easy too. Multipliers Around 1.25

I’ll do a back to back once I finish the tune. It was too crowded to finish there’s plenty left.
I wanted to start pretty rich and work my way up so I span the entire spectrum. I didn’t even get to what felt strong on the street yet. Then there’s still room to what others are claiming to make max power but didn’t try it yet. So i think there’s still more room for improvement. The cai is most definitely flowing nicely.

Also the readings of the maf are clean. It took two pulls and it was on the money.
