Is it possible to just order a set of quad black tips to weld on to my existing NPP exhaust? I'd love a catback, but they're super illegal here.
Unless of course, AWE can provide the necessary documents to appease Swiss authorities

Taking a moment to reiterate fitments for everyone so it's clear.
Applicable AWE configurations for manual and automatic ZL1 coupes: catbacks and axlebacks. Applicable AWE configurations for manual SS coupes: catbacks and axlebacks. Applicable AWE configurations for automatic SS coupes: axleback (due to the AFM valves. Yes, the catbacks will fit, but we do not recommend installing them due to the ECU and it necessity of having communication with the valves. Yes, we know they can be programmed ) Applicable AWE configurations for all convertible models (SS/ZL1): axlebacks only at this time (due to the additional structural elements included in the convertible's undercarriage.) |

My question is on the axelback track version, what makes this different than just removing the suitcase muffler myself and going with a straight pipe in its place?

Sounds great! However, my neighbors will have me evicted for not having the NPP valves in stealth in the morning.....

So far sounds good, but still not worth ditching a perfectly good NPP.
